Former James Bond actor Daniel Craig is joining DC. The actor is in talks to star in director Luca Guadagnino’s Sgt. Rock movie. I think the movie could be great, as there is a lot of talent involved, but the character choice is definitely weird. Craig has the potential to play major DC heroes and villains, so to have the actor simply play a World War II soldier, even a great one like Sgt. Rock, feels like a waste. I think that characters like Two-Face, Doctor Fate, or Brainiac would have fitted Daniel Craig better.
